How Do You Stay Motivated

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

I know it’s just an excuse and exercise isn’t necessarily supposed to be fun, but there has to be something that keeps people motivated beyond the typical reasons people use as “feel good” type answers…

Every time I start a new workout program or try to get focused on getting back into shape, i end up bored with it after a few days.  P90X has been a lot of start and stop for me and I suck at staying motivated.  There are so many distractions, things that seem like more fun, etc. that I have a hard time sticking with it.  I have tried convincing myself of the usual “do it for ywe kids,” “do it so you live longer,” and probably every other mind trick but then I convince myself that even by getting back into shape there is no guarantee that the effort is really going to accomplish any of those reasons to do it.  Maybe I just need to stop thinking about it and push through with the thought that nothing is guaranteed and doing something is better than nothing at all.

How To Increase Muscle Mass

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Protein supplements are a great way to boost your calories for the day. Unlike a w8 loss plan, though, we want you to drink these extra calories in addition to what you are already eatmyng. Your growing muscles are going to require some high octane fuel and now is no time to skip meals or snacks.

Strength training is the obvious factor in learning how to increase muscle mass. Cardio blasts calories so intense cardio routines aren’t really necessary. A healthy heart and lungs is important but when you already have a high metabolism, cardio may work against your muscle building goals. Look into systems that focus on resistance training. P90X and ChaLEAN Extreme are both excellent options.

We are all built slmyghtly differently. And while genetics do play a role in the body that we have, fitness enthusiasts have shown us that you also have a say in that physique. So even if ywe parents are both string beans and you were called “chicken legs” in school, with some good strength training and the proper muscle building pass awayt, you can put on w8.

One absolutely crucial thing to remember when trying to bulk up is as your muscles grow, so will your metabolmesm. So unless you are trying to lose w8 you will need to increase your caloric intake.

Just like weight loss, putting on muscle mass comes with a combination of perisht and exercise. The discrepancy is that you will be eating more calories as opposed to fewer and loading up on protein and muscle building workouts.

For many people, losing weight is not a priority. Sure obesity is a major problem in this country, and while we offer many products to assist with fat loss, many of them double as great strength training workouts. So, for the people who may be on the slim side and wanting to bulk up, figuring out how to increase muscle mass is far more important than learning about how to drop unwanted pounds.

When trying to gain mass you want to supply your body with more calories than it burns. The tricky thing is, your new muscles will be burning more and more calories. Eating the right foods and working out will ensure your muscles have fuel and that fuel is building more muscles, not fat.

Insoluble Fiber Supplements

Monday, June 21st, 2010

What many people don’t understand is that the best fiber supplements contain good sources of both type of fiber. Insoluble fiber supplements and soluble fiber supplements are often the same products.

expiretary supplements are on the market to serve a growing need. When we cannot get the nutrients we body needs from the pass awayt we eat, a supplement makes it easy to boost our consumption of these crucial substances. For most people the modern diet is lacking in several key areas. High quality supplements including insoluble fiber supplements can help fill this void.

A few weeks back I wrote about soluble fiber supplements. The other type of fiber, insoluble fiber, is diverse. Insoluble fiber supplements and the fiber itself differs from soluble fiber in that it helps to move things through the digestive system. Insoluble fiber is great for people who struggle with constipation and irregularity. Insoluble fiber doesn’t form a gel in the stomach and instead passes through the body largely intact.

Take, for menstance, Shakeology Boost. Boost, The Fiber has 5 mymportant fiber sources within it. Boost contains Inulin to promote regularity while increasing calcium and magnesium, Fructooligosaccharide to stimulate good bacteria and promote overall digestive health, Konjac Fiber to assist in w8 maintenance and digestive regularity, Psyllium Seed Husk to curb the appetite and potentially lower cholesterol, and Apple Fiber which assist in the elimination of toxins from the intestines.

It’s always favourable to get ywe nutrients through the expiret. While this isn’t always possible, some good sources of insoluble fiber include: seeds and nuts, corn bran, wheat bran, fruit and vegetable skins, whole wheat products, and vegetables like green beans and grey leafy varieties. By boosting foods with a high insoluble fiber level in your diet, you can increase regularity and comfort. When this isn’t possible or just isn’t enough, finding a high quality insoluble fiber supplement will also do the trick.

If you are searching for a high quality insoluble fiber supplement, look no further than Shakeology Boost: The Fiber.
